The Foundation Milena Carvajal - Pro-Kartagener was constituted in 1996 to promote fundamental and clinical research aimed at improving our knowledge of the mechanisms and possibilities of treatment of the syndrome of Kartagener.
To this goal, the Foundation annually allocates research grants for the payment of salaries, the acquisition of equipment or the purchase of materials and supplies.
The Foundation also allocates grants to support the realisation of clinical studies in universities or hospitals.
